Not the best bearing for your moneyJan 11, 2010
By S. Moses After having one of these guys seize up on me, I pulled them all out and cleaned them. The sucky part was when I discovered it's pretty near impossible to pop the caps off to actually get the balls out and take the whole bearing unit apart.
I searched online all over the place and everyone agreed that the bearings aren't worth cleaning. They recommended to throw them away and get bones bearings.

I didn't happen to have new bearings at my disposal so I soaked these Sector 9's in some lighter fluid and scrubbed them and rinsed and repeated. The one that was super frozen eventually came undone after lots of washes in the lighter fluid.
Also, all of them were re-lubed with Powell (Bones) Speed Cream.
They seem to ride better after getting cleaned but I would not recommend buying them.

By Crusin through life These aren't the highest quality bearings on the market, that's them being compared to bones ceramics. However, just as good as reds but for a lower price. They get the job done and ride nice and smooth. Definitely pleased with the purchase.
