Nixon Newton YellowAug 15, 2010
By littleriddell The Yellow Nixon Newton is a very light and comfortable watch. It is a bit bigger and wider then it looks but not much. People say it's impossible to tell time with it but it takes literally less then a day to adjust completely. It doesn't have anything special like a timer or alarm. It is only for time and looks. It has a nice bright blue light which makes it very easy to see in the dark and works as somewhat of a flashlight. It is 130 dollars in most stores. All in all it's a nice watch tat stands out. Leave a comment or question and I'll answer.

Very Unique and slick - for an everyday watch.Mar 24, 2010

I got very good compliments at work wearing this today. Women found it more appealing than guys (thats a good thing) since my male colleague thought it was "interesting" but in the meantime, my female associate director was talking in the middle of our staff meeting when she stopped and made a nice "hey, that's a cool looking watch" comment...lol...the women in the meeting looked at it and agreed and kept looking at it..lol..so it made a nice impact - and I like it too!

Aesthetically great.Nov 06, 2011
By bobadrunk The picture is low quality, even from Nixon's website. It looks way better in person. Just know that you get two years of warranty on the watch and the band is not covered by the warranty. My idiot brother attacks my everyday so the band deteriorated and eventually snapped off. The band is secured by plastic piece on each side of the band with two holes on each end of the plastic. These holes are filled in by screws which can be seen from the back of the watch. This seems a bit flimsy. Hopefully Nixon finds a better way to place the band to strengthen the durability. Be careful of the watch getting hit by something when you're moving your hand around as the watch face is large. The screen/case/glass is quite durable. I only had one noticeable scratch on mines due to my carelessness of playing with scissors. Would give five stars if I wasn't unfortunate enough to suffer the band snapping off and the time being inaccurate. The time for my watch was inaccurate not because of me setting it, but was because after the band snapped and the watch fell out, the hands wouldn't move as normal. Do not fret if you don't have bad conditions like me though!
EDIT: There are new pictures of the watch on <...>

BE WARNED - Fixing a Nixon watch is extortionate!Oct 04, 2011
By Mr. Simon G. Dilly My Nixon watch strap came apart whilst it was out of warranty. The pin simply fell out of the link. For most other watches you would be able to simply get a watchman to hammer in a new pin for under £5. As it was I took it to three watchmen non of whom were able to do this as they needed tools. I then took it to a Nixon dealer who sent it off to Nixon......in France for £14 postage and packaging! It took 6 weeks to get it back and when I did it cost me a total of £57 for the privilege. On top of this they had put in too many links so I had to send it off again to get it corrected. So all in all to replace a pin I went without my watch for 4 MONTHS and it cost me a small fortune. At some point in the future I will probably have to replace it again. If you are looking for a watch for a long time the maintenance costs they lock you into are extremely high.
