Carver Bike rack on my Beach Cruiser=Perfect!Dec 07, 2009

My wife ordered this for me for our anniversary and it works perfect. I just strap my board on and go. Assembly was pretty easy and it worked well with my beach cruiser. She looked at local surf shops and amazon had the best deal, including shpping. Anyone who surfs should be stoked with this product! We would definitely purchase these again for anyone looking to cruise to the beach on their bike and not have to stress with parking your car, paying to get on the beach, etc. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

I use this to carry an 8' 6" wooden surfboard and the rack is able to handle the weight without a problem. Plenty of room to pedal and when you don't have a board you can remove the arms completely with a hex wrench and still have the rack. The padded arms remove easily without tools, also. I spent a lot of time looking at various other options and I don't think there is a better solution out there.

A Must Have For Getting To/From The BeachNov 06, 2011

I live on the North Shore of Oahu where this product was conceived and to be completely frank, the Carver Surf Rack blows any other bicycle rack out of the water. There simply is no comparison. This rack is by far the most popular among surfers here and some have even used the Carver Surf Rack on their mopeds! The setup is light weight, strong, and attention to detail was given to every part of its functionality. It simply works and it simply works well.
One interesting thing that most may not realize when looking for something like this is trying to ride your bike to the beach with one hand steering your bike and the other holding your board with a breeze or wind present. It's extremely difficult and dangerous for you and your board, and we all know this, and we all have done this. Drop your shred stick in the Carver and enjoy your ride to the beach with both hands! It is worth the small investment alone just to get to your session safely and get your board there in one piece.
I currently have two of these mounted to my tandem Schwinn that both my girlfriend and I use, as well as one mounted to my single-person beach cruiser. This is a must have if you're going to ride your bicycle to your next session. -Brandon

Rack came to the house on time and hooked up to my bike easily except for 2 missing screws. Carries my 8 foot board easily with out too much notice from the wind.
